What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. It uses focused work intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every 4 sessions. The method reduces the impact of interruptions and improves sustained concentration.
How it works
- Choose a task to work on
- Work on it for one full Pomodoro (25 min default)
- Take a 5-minute short break
- After 4 Pomodoros, take a longer 15-minute break
