- 1Read the displayed passage to familiarize yourself with the text. Take as long as you need before starting — the timer only begins with your first keystroke.
- 2Click on the text input area below the passage and start typing the text exactly as shown. Green characters mean correct, red means a mistake.
- 3Keep your eyes on the passage text, not the keyboard. Watch the character colors update in real time as you type.
- 4Continue typing until you reach the end of the passage. The test ends automatically and displays your final WPM, accuracy, and elapsed time.
- 5Click 'Try Again' to get a new passage. Practice regularly — even 10 minutes a day shows measurable improvement within a few weeks.
